Raley's Expands Delivery to Sacramento
Raley’s has launched the second phase of its eCart delivery service, now serving residents in select zip codes in and around Sacramento.
Originally launched in August in Alameda, Calif., the delivery service, which includes same-day delivery, is an extension of Raley’s eCart click-and-collect program. All products within eCart fall under the guidelines set by Raley’s recently launched Shelf Guide labeling program, a unique initiative to help customers combat label confusion obstacles. For the eCart program specifically, Shelf Guide offers a customized, interactive experience where customers can filter by category and attributes to find the products that meet their personal dietary needs.
“We continue to invest in eCommerce and are excited to launch delivery in Sacramento just in time for the holiday season,” said Deirdre Zimmermann, head of ecommerce and marketing. “We have been aggressive in the development of eCart; analyzing shopping data and customer needs assessments to build our platform to maintain especially high standards for this personalized shopping service.”
Raley’s eCart program provides the customized service of a Raley’s personal shopper, who hand-picks an order’s grocery items. The first order is free.
West Sacramento, Calif.-based Raley’s operates 122 stores in Northern California and Nevada under four banners: Raley’s Supermarkets, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source.
