Pros Ranch Markets Adds 13,000-Sq.-Ft. Restaurant to Existing Store
ONTARIO, Calif. -- Hispanic regional independent supermarket chain Pros Ranch Markets today opened a 13,000-square-foot restaurant in its existing store here as part of a new prototype that features enhanced foodservice offerings.
"We have taken the best homemade food ideas from the northern states of Mexico and combined them into a Hispanic Mercado concept similar to Olvera St. for shoppers in Phoenix," said owner Mike Provenzano.
The supermarket, is a 103,000-square-foot remodeled K-Mart store, and the new restaurant -- named Tradiciones -- offers authentic Mexican Food in a formal sit down setting. It includes artwork from Rancheros in Mexico.
Ranch Markets has four Festival Markets in Phoenix, four in Bakersfield, and a fifth Phoenix store is currently under construction.
