Regional independent Price Chopper’s plans to deploy a new ecommerce platform and digital advertising program for its Niskayuna store in Schenectady, N.Y.
The grocer is working with Colchester, Vt.-based digital grocery solutions provider MyWebGrocer on the project. With MyWebGrocer’s online shopping solution, Price Chopper customers will be able to order groceries from their computer, then either pick them up at the store or have their order delivered to their home.

We also believe this new way of shopping will help our customers in their daily lives. Online shopping is taking hold nationwide and growing faster than 20 percent per year. It was a natural fit for us to offer this value added service to our customers and to partner with MyWebGrocer.”
Price Chopper joins 112 other grocery retailers that use MyWebGrocer services.
