Price Chopper Names Director of Corp. Brands
Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets has appointed Mike DeJulio director of corporate brands, reporting directly to Angelo Cannistraci, group VP, center store, pharmacy and senior merchandising coordinator.
In his new role, DeJulio (left) will be responsible for growing corporate brand sales for the Northeast grocery chain. He will oversee the new item design and development, and work with merchandising teams to devise business plans for sales and profit objectives. DeJulio will collaborate directly with Samford, Conn.-based Daymon on product sourcing.
Schenectady, N.Y.-based Golub owns and operates 128 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The family-owned company employs more than 22,000 associates who collectively own 52 percent of its privately held stock.
