Price Chopper Launches Program for Seniors
ALBANY, N.Y. - Supermarket chain Price Chopper, together with Senior Services of Albany, has launched a program designed to offer the region's senior citizens access to discounted goods and services from a wide variety of service providers, restaurants, and retail outlets. The Senior AdvantEdge Card is free for Capital Region seniors 60 and older, and available at the service desks of all Capital Region Price Choppers.
More than 20 area companies have already joined the Senior AdvantEdge Network, in addition to Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper. Senior AdvantEdge cardholders will have access to special offers on such services as financial and estate planning, long-term care insurance, and medical testing and equipment, as well as discounts at many area restaurants and attractions.
Building on the power and recognition of Price Chopper's AdvantEdge Card, the program helps to illuminate to area businesses the importance of marketing to the senior demographic.

"This program will be a huge benefit to seniors and Senior Services as we continue to develop programs and services for seniors in our community."
