PMA Makes Senior Management Changes
The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) has restructured its senior management team to more closely align it with the association's new strategic plan and the expectations of its members.
Bryan Silbermann, PMA's longtime president, has added the c.e.o. title to his nameplate, while Lorna Christie, formerly s.v.p. of industry products and services, has become c.o.o. Duane Eaton, formerly s.v.p. of association services, is now the trade group's c.a.o., alongside Bob Whitaker chief science officer, Cindy Seel, executive director of the PMA Foundation for Industry Talent, and Yvonne Bull, formerly financial services director, who was named c.f.o.
In discussing the executives' expanded roles, Dave Corsi, Wegmans Food Markets' v.p. of produce and PMA's board chairman, said: "In the work we did last year planning for PMA's future, we identified the benefits of strengthening key staff roles by assigning responsibilities and titles that clarify the leadership role and accountability of the senior management team."
