Penn Traffic CEO Resigns
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Penn Traffic Co. on Thursday said Joseph Fisher has resigned as president and chief executive, effective Aug. 6.
Fisher resigned for personal family reasons, the company said. He will remain a director with the company. Steven Panagos, the company's chief restructuring officer, was named interim CEO.
The company filed for bankruptcy protection in May.
