NGA Co-locates Finance, Tech Conferences
The National Grocers Association (NGA) will hold its Fall Leadership Meetings in Chicago Oct. 4-7. The meetings, a combination of NGA’s Financial Management and Technology Conference and the Trading Partner Business Sessions Program, offer four days of educational sessions and high-level networking opportunities.
By combining the two conferences into one, the synergies “will allow for independent supermarket operators to take full advantage of the educational programming and networking opportunities that the Fall Leadership Meetings have to offer,” explains Peter Larkin, president/CEO of Arlington, Va.-based NGA.
“This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for independent grocers," said Bob Graybill, CEO of FMS Solutions Holding LLC, which is sponsoring the event along with First Data. "The unique presence of the Fall Leadership Conference and Trading Partner sessions combined with the always popular Financial Management and Technology Conference makes this a must-attend learning and sharing event for the independent grocer."
Guy Chiarello, president of First Data, noted that the event "brings together key industry players to strengthen business relationships and foster deeper industry collaboration."
