Newest Revamped Winn-Dixie Bows in Palm Bay, Fla.

Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. has completed its most recent “transformational” remodel, a 57,000-square-foot store in Palm Bay, Fla. “The fantastic team at the new Palm Bay Winn-Dixie is committed to providing our guests phenomenal service and quality at a great value,” said regional VP Dan Lafever. “We are making shopping fun again through innovative solutions, distinctive product offerings and unmatched convenience.”

In addition to a bigger produce department, the Palm Bay store now boasts a huge prepared foods section offering chef-inspired entrees and convenient side dishes. Customers will also find larger meat and seafood departments and an exhaustive selection of wines from around the world. Additional new amenities include a full-service florist and an upgraded pharmacy; a wider offering of specialty desserts, pastries and made-to-order cakes in the bakery; a specialty salad bar; and a café sitting area featuring complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and coffee.

To mark the store’s grand opening, Winn-Dixie will present a series of event throughout March and April, including food tastings, live entertainment, raffles and giveaways. The Palm Bay Winn-Dixie is the Southeast regional grocer’s fourth “transformational” store in central Florida and ninth overall.
