NCGA Gets New Director

National Cooperative Grocers Association has hired Paula Gilbertson as the development director for the organization's central corridor.

Gilbertson has nearly 30 years of food cooperative experience, including her most recent position as general manager of Linden Hills Co-op in Minneapolis, and prior service on the trade group's board of directors.

Owned by 111 food co-ops operating more than 130 stores in 32 states with combined annual sales of over $1 billion, NCGA helps unify natural food co-ops with the aims of optimizing operational and marketing resources, strengthening purchasing power, and offering more value to shoppers.
