Mass Connections' Conference to Uncover Consumer Behavior Trends

CERRITOS, Calif. -- Retail marketing services firm Mass Connections, based here, is hosting its 10th Annual "Connecting to the Consumer & Shopper" Conference in Long Beach, Calif. Feb. 15-17. The conference is open to the retail industry.

The conference includes Mass Connections' second edition of "Touch America: The Consumer Connection," which highlights an exhaustive independent study on retail marketing and what drives consumer behavior. Conference attendees will also view "Impulse," a Mass Connections-produced documentary about the techniques that motivate consumer purchases.

The three-day conference will feature symposiums, panel forums, and small-group discussions on topics including multi-cultural marketing, branding, international shopping, collegiate retail education, and person-to-person business strategy.

Conference speakers include Mitzi Short, v.p. of multicultural marketing and strategic initiatives for Pepsi-Cola North America; Doug J. Pursley, director of product demonstrations for Sam's Club; Trudy Bourgeois, c.e.o./founder of The Workforce Center for Excellence; Allan Noodle, retired president of Ahold; and Mark Hyland, v.p. of Weyerhaeuser.
