Martin's Food Markets Expanding Further South
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Martin's Food Markets, a banner of Giant Food Stores here, is reportedly looking at more locations in Virginia as the company expands further south along Interstate 81.
"We have two sites we're looking at in Harrisonburg, and Roanoke could very well be in our future as well," Giant Food spokesman Denny Hopkins was quoted saying in the Roanoke Times. A store is scheduled to open in Staunton next year, added Hopkins.
Martin's has Virginia locations in Waynesboro, Front Royal, and Winchester. A store will open in Staunton next year, Hopkins said.
