The brothers are sons of George De La Torre Jr., who is chairman of the board, and son of George De La Torre, Sr. who, together with his nephew, Albert Guerrero, co-founded Juanita's Foods in 1946.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- To mark Make a Difference Day, the national day of community caring celebrated on the fourth Saturday of every October, Wegmans Food Markets here will help raise awareness about celiac disease at events held at the Nature's Marketplace department of 30 Wegmans stores. On Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., registered dietitians will answer shoppers' questions about the condition at select locations in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland.
