Mark Cardova to Run Henry¿s Farmers Market

PEORIA, Ariz., - Mark Cardova has been named store director of the new Henry’s Farmers Market, a Wild Oats Market-owned store set to open here November 10th.

Cardova brings more than 20 years of retail experience to the new store, which has created 80 jobs for the local economy. Most recently, he served as v.p. of Operations Service for Waldo's Dollar Mart in Tijuana, Mexico. He has also served as Regional Manager for Hollywood Entertainment in Phoenix and Regional v.p. for Advanced Auto Parts, which later became AutoZone.

"We know that Mark, as leader of the new Peoria store, will be a great asset to the community," said Richard Vara, director of operations for Henry's Farmers Market. "He brings both leadership and enthusiasm to Henry's and we look forward to filling additional positions in the Peoria store."

Henry's family, which is owned by Wild Oats Markets, includes 24 stores in Southern California and, with the addition of Peoria, and two stores in Arizona.
