Mann Packing Launches Summer Slaw Spectacular

Mann Packing, the Salinas, Calif.-based fresh vegetables supplier, is helping shoppers heat up the grill and serve their favorite summer salads with its “Annual Summer Slaw Spectacular” promotion.

Packages of Mann’s Broccoli Cole Slaw and Rainbow Salad featuring IRCs will be available to shoppers nationwide beginning July 1, allowing consumers to save $1 with the purchase of any two of these items.

According to Greg Kurkjian, Mann’s VP of retail sales, this is one of the company’s most successful promotions with more than 200,000 impressions delivered over the key Fourth of July selling period last year.

To further support summer sales, Mann held an invitation-only party at the BlogHer Food ’13 conference, June 7 in Austin, Texas, in conjunction with Crunch Pak sliced apples.

The party’s menu featured fresh items from both companies as well as two signature drinks made with Mann’s Broccolini and Crunch Pak’s sliced apples. More than 100 food bloggers from all over the country attended the event.
