Lucky’s to Open 1st St. Louis Store

Lucky's Market, a Colorado-based natural and specialty grocer, plans to open a 26,000-square-foot store in St. Louis -- its first location in that city -- which is projected to open in the third quarter of 2014.

Though new to St. Louis, Lucky’s has recently begun expanding within Colorado and Ohio. Its first store in Missouri opens January 2014 in Columbia.

“We are incredibly proud to open in Missouri,” said co-founder Bo Sharon. “We imagine our stores as an oasis of health, kindness and support, the kind of store we love to shop in ourselves. We look forward to bringing our community new tastes for their kitchens – and continuing to support the passionate Missouri farmers and vendors as well.”

Founders Bo and Trish Sharon founded Lucky’s in 2003 to provide a new “foodie” shopping experience and a philosophy that healthy, affordable food is essential to a community’s well-being. “Just as we invite guests into our home, we invite our customers into our stores for a memorable experience,” said Trish Sharon.
