Kraft Names CVP Industry Development

Mike Ridenour has been appointed CVP industry development for Northfield, Ill.-based Kraft Foods Group.

According to Tom F. Corley, Kraft's EVP and president, U.S. retail sales and foodservice, Ridenour's new role involves "leadership across all of the industry associations, helping us strengthen our collaborative business-building efforts with retailers to achieve mutual goals of profitable growth."

Ridenour began his career in the food industry 29 years ago in Atlanta with Kraft. Over the course of his career, he has held various management and strategic planning positions with leadership responsibility in multiple channels, including national, independent, drug and club retailers throughout the United States.

His most recent role was leading Kraft’s customer collaboration relationships for the company's industry development team. Before that, he was customer VP of Kraft's New York/New Jersey geographical sales team.
