Kenny Family ShopRites of Delaware to Open Two New Stores
WILMINGTON, Del. -- The Kenny Family ShopRites of Delaware here said it plans to open two new stores in the state: one in Wilmington (the company's fourth) in September 2008, developed in partnership with the Buccini family, with the groundbreaking scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9; and a store in Bear in the fall of 2009, developed in collaboration with the Hanna family.
The company is now in the process of hiring experienced and skilled assistant store managers, butchers, pastry chefs, cake decorators, bakers, prepared foods chefs, and staff pharmacists for its current and future stores.
The Kenny Family ShopRites of Delaware currently operates of three neighborhood ShopRite supermarkets in Delaware. The stores employ nearly 700 associates.
