Indie Retailers, Rosie Team Up for Family Meals Month Promotion

Rosie, the online shopping provider, has teamed up with 11 independent retailers to celebrate National Family Meals Month with a Family Meals Photo Contest.

Broulim’s Fresh Foods, Buehler’s Fresh Foods, Dash’s Market, Davis Food & Drug, Foodie’s Markets, Highland Park Market, Lee’s Marketplace, Lin’s Fresh Market, Maceys, Swensen’s Magic Markets, and Trumansburg Shur-Save are participating in the promotion, which asks consumers to submit a photo of their family sharing a meal and “raising a mitt to commit” via a special page on Rosie’s website. The page includes a share button to allow the participants to post the photo to their social media pages. Five winners will be selected to receive a $100 Rosie gift card.

September is National Family Meals Month, which was established by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) to encourage people to share one more meal together per week at home. The program also asks grocers to highlight simple, healthy meal solutions in their aisles.
