IDDBA Elects New Board Members, Officers

The International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association elected its 2013-14 officers and board of directors at its recent annual business meeting in Chicago.

William G. Klump, SVP of marketing, Butterball LLC, was elected as IDDBA chairman of the board. He has served on the board of directors since 2006 and has been actively involved in many committees. Voni Woods, senior director of deli at Giant Eagle Inc., continues to serve on the board as past chairman.

Other new officers for 2013-14:

Industry leaders elected to serve three-year terms on the IDDBA Board of Directors: Linda Duwve, Vice President Retail Sales, Emmi Roth USA, Inc.; Rick Findlay, Vice President Purchasing, Whole Foods Market, Inc.; Glenn E. Also, IDDBA scheduled its 50th annual seminar and expo, Dairy-Deli-Bake 2014, for June 1-3 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The theme for the show is Camp Foodie.

The IDDBA show is a full-service seminar and expo with qualified retail buyers and merchandisers, the best dairy, deli, bakery, cheese, foodservice products, packaging, services, and the highest-rated speakers in the business. This event features an extensive seminar program; pre-qualified retail buyers, merchandisers and executives; 1,700-plus booth expo filled with products and services for the fresh food categories; and world-class merchandising ideas and demonstrations with actionable ideas. More than 8,500 attendees are expected for the three-day event.

Madison, Wis.-based IDDBA is a nonprofit membership organization serving the dairy, deli, bakery, cheese and supermarket foodservice industries.
