HEB Unveils Wellness Magazine
SAN ANTONIO -- H.E. Butt Grocery Co. here today is introducing the first edition of a new in-store "healthy living" magazine titled, H-E-B goodness! The chain said that the magazine, designed with the busy "super mom" in mind, is packed with recipes, lifestyle and healthy living tips, and nutrition and wellness advice.
The magazine is free and available near check stands, HEB said. The magazine is being published in partnership with Texas Monthly Custom Publishing, and is slated to be published five times a year.
"H-E-B goodness! is all about sharing with our customers useful advice and tips that can inspire them to lead healthier and happier lives," said Pablo Rodriguez, HEB public affairs manager, in a statement.
The inaugural issue features profiles of the winners of H-E-B's statewide Super Mom's of Texas contest. Three women were selected from more than 500 statewide entries, based on essays written by their children that described why their mom was the "picture of goodness." In addition to being profiled in the magazine, each winning mom will receive an H-E-B gift basket and a day of pampering at Patricia's Day Spa in San Antonio.
