HEB and ConAgra to Celebrate Mother's Day Mexican-style with Cooking Camps

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- H.E. Butt Grocery Co. and ConAgra Foods, Inc. are teaming up to help celebrate Mother's Day this weekend with free cooking camps.

Chefs Jaime Martin Del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu of restaurant La Casita Mexicana in Los Angeles will be on hand at the H-E-B Plus at 6818 Zarzamora Street in San Antonio on May 12 and May 13 to share their authentic, healthy Mexican recipes featuring ConAgra brands such as Pam Cooking Spray, Rosarita Refried Beans, and Ro Tel Tomatoes and Green Chilies.

A sample of the dishes include: Potato Soup with Spicy Tomato, Tilapia Adobada, and for dessert, a Cactus Bundt Cake with Tequila Cactus Icing.

Participants will receive an official Cooking Camp apron and HEB goodie bag filled with HEB discount coupons, Cooking Camp recipes, and Pam recipe booklet containing traditional Mexican food recipes.

ConAgra is scheduled to host several Cooking Camps across the country reaching out to thousands of women.
