Harris Teeter Does Lunch With Redskins Wide Receiver

On Oct. 29, Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will be at the Harris Teeter Spectrum at Town Center, in Reston, Va., to introduce his personally designed Signature Sub Sandwich – the latest in the Matthews, N.C.-based supermarket chain’s series of custom deli subs.

During his afternoon appearance, Garcon will offer samples of his sandwich to shoppers and fans, and sign autographs.

Selling for $3.99, the “Garcon de Pierre” features grilled chicken breast and Swiss cheese topped with lettuce, pickles and banana peppers, and seasoned with honey mustard, oil and vinegar, ranch dressing, salt and pepper, on a white sub roll. Shoppers can make it a lunch pack, consisting of a half sub and a choice of one Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut Cookie, for $4.49.

The sandwich will be available in the Fresh Foods Market Sandwich Shop in all D.C. metro and northern Virginia Harris Teeter stores.

Redskins fans should also be on the lookout for more Signature Sub Sandwiches from star players, as well as team merchandise, at the grocer.
