Haggen, Inc. Promotes Wood to COO
BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Haggen, Inc. yesterday promoted Jeff Wood to the new position of e.v.p. and c.o.o.
Wood most recently was the company's s.v.p. of administration. He now will oversee the company's retail operations, merchandising, marketing, human resources, and store development. Wood will report directly to Dale C. Henley, president and c.e.o.
"Jeff has provided outstanding leadership since joining Haggen, Inc. in 2003," Henley said. "I am pleased to have a person of Jeff's caliber to take on these responsibilities."
Wood previously served as c.o.o. of Seattle-based Larry's Markets and spent 30 years with QFC, where he held numerous management positions.
Haggen, Inc. operates 32 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy, TOP Food & Drug, and Fairhaven Market names.
