Giant-Landover Pops Up Again in Dover
For the third time, Giant Food LLC has erected a pop-up store at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Del. Located in RV Lot 10, the Speedway Supermarket sells more than 2,500 items and will give fans easy access to tailgate shopping during the Sept. 30-Oct. 2 race weekend. Hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Items offered at the store include hot dogs, hamburgers, coleslaw, potato salad, buns, chips, cookies and refreshments; perishables such as meat, deli, produce, seafood and bakery items; prepared foods; health and beauty care products like sunscreen and toothpaste.
“Since coming to the Monster Mile last fall, the Speedway Supermarket has become the primary destination for our fans’ grocery needs, whether they are staying in an RV for the week or just tailgating for the day,” noted Denis McGlynn, president and CEO of Dover Motorsports Inc. “Providing our race fans with the Giant brand and legendary customer service only helps enhance and add to the convenience of a race weekend experience.”
