Giant-Carlisle Exec to Speak on Diversity
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Deborah Vereen, director of organizational effectiveness and diversity for Giant Food Stores here, will lecture on corporate diversity at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa.
According to a statement from the college, Vereen is a certified master trainer and facilitator with experience in mentoring, diversity and inclusion, management development, recruitment, selection and retention, culture coaching, community outreach, and demographic analysis and reporting. Her talk is titled, "Diversity and Corporate America: Embracing Diversity to Achieve Your Professional Goals." The lecture will be held on Tuesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. in the college's Miller Chapel.
It said Vereen is dedicated to creating a corporate culture at Giant that "fosters an inclusive, ethical, and equitable approach among vendors, customers, and the community."
