Giant-Carlisle Banners Team Up With Staples
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Giant Food, LLC here and its banners Martin's Food Markets and Tops Markets said this week that they have officially completed their rollout of Staples office supplies in all stores.
"Partnering with Staples is just another example of how [we are] able to provide a one-stop-shopping experience to our customers," noted Jodie Daubert, v.p. for general merchandise, health and beauty care, and fuel at Giant Food Stores, in a statement. "The Staples office supply department is a component of Your Neighborhood Drugstore, which makes it easy for customers to complete many of their errands during one trip to their local Giant, Martin's [or Tops.]"
The department, which is easy to find at any Giant, Martin's, or Tops store, features signage employing Staples' familiar red-and-white logo. Shoppers can choose from a range of almost 500 items, among them office supplies, computer accessories, and mailing boxes.
Giant Food, one of four retail-operating companies under Ahold USA, currently operates 103 stores as Giant Food Stores, 119 stores as Tops Markets, and 25 stores as Martin's Food Markets. With almost 40,000 associates, Giant serves a six-state market area.
