Gelson’s Market for Sale

Arden Group, Inc., parent company of grocery chain Gelson’s Market, said it’s evaluating strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of the company, and has retained Moelis & Company as its exclusive financial advisor to assist in connection with the strategic review process.

Gelson’s operates 16 full-service supermarkets in Southern California and has a new store currently under construction scheduled to open in Long Beach later this year.
