The Fresh Grocer, a Philadelphia-based, fresh-focused independent, is putting the finishing touches on its next store addition set to open in Wilmington, Del., next week.
The Fresh Grocer's latest store, at 800 W. 4th St. in Wilmington, will highlight its expanded perishable departments and ethnic offerings, including the produce, seafood, deli, and meat departments. The in-store bakery will offer fresh baked breads, Hispanic desserts, and custom decorated cakes, while an expanded grocery area includes ethnic hair care, and Imusa cook wear.
Among the self-service features are self-check outs, Red Box movie rentals, gift cards, bill paying, Coinstar services, an ATM, and Western Union.
