FMI Unveils 2015 FMI Connect, Future Leaders Keynote Lineup

Food Marketing Institute has taken the wraps off the keynote lineup for FMI Connect 2015 and its professional development conference Future Leaders @Connect, which are running as parallel events June 8-11 at Chicago's McCormick Center.

Keynoters will include Carey Lohrenz, a team-building, leadership and strategy expert, who will apply the lessons she learned as the U.S. Navy’s first female Tomcat F-14 fighter pilot to the world of food retail at the June 9 joint session of FMI Connect and Future Leaders; Leslie G. Sarasin, president and CEO of Arlington, Va.-based FMI, who will review key U.S. grocery shopper trends at the June 10 joint session; and CBS sportscaster Greg Gumbel, who will lead a panel of successful sports coaches, among them John Calipari, head coach of men's basketball at the University of Kentucky, and Rick Pitino, head coach of men's basketball at the University of Louisville, in a discussion of their winning strategies on June 11.

FMI Connect will focus on food retail competition; improving efficiencies; and identifying consumer engagement strategies. Requiring a separate registration, Future Leaders @Connect (formerly Future Connect) will offer current and high-potential leaders in food retail skill-building content and activities.
