Fiesta Mart Debuts Five Remodeled Stores

Fiesta Mart continues to reinvigorate its brand with five grand reopenings of stores in the Dallas/Fort Worth market in October; including the rebannering of three previously acquired Minyard locations.

"Since we acquired the Minyard stores, we have been meticulously working to bring Fiesta to life in these locations," said Fiesta Mart CEO Michael Byars. "We've evaluated every item to ensure we meet the needs of local customers, and we have brought more variety that did not previously exist in some locations such as fresh seafood and our vast assortment of international grocery offerings."

The grand reopenings are part of a campaign began two years ago to improve standards and improve Fiesta Mart stores after speaking with customers and gaining their feedback. “We want our customers to know that this Fiesta is your Fiesta — it's your store, and we know you'll love it as much as we do,” Byars said of the remodeled locations.

The remodeling campaign began earlier this summer in the Houston market, and reopenings will continue to debut every week through January with the first 200 customers at each store’s celebration receiving $10 Fiesta gift cards. Fiesta Mart, with an emphasis on international and specialty foods, currently has about 60 stores in Texas, serving customers from more than 100 countries of origin.
