Festival Foods Brings Families Together For Meals

During the month of September, Onalaska, Wis.-based Skogen's Festival Foods is celebrating FMI’s Family Meals Month with a roster of programs, giveaways and tips to bring families together at meal time.

The company is highlighting its Dine at Home Deli options in its 24 stores throughout Wisconsin. Samples of the offerings will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select Saturdays, and customers also have an opportunity to receive a free oven mitt.

Additionally, at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21, the stores’ dietitians will host a live chat on Facebook about ways to make mealtime easier, faster, more affordable and more fun. They'll share their favorite 20 Minute Meal recipes and discuss products that can help cut cooking time to leave more time for conversation at the table. The program will offer customers opportunities to win prizes, including Festival Foods gift cards.

The final event will be the #FestivalFamilyMeals Twitter chat at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, during which the dietitians will share favorite meal ideas, options and tips for making family meals at home, as well as answer customer questions. Prizes will be awarded, including an exclusive cooking class at the Green Bay Support Office.
