The Chesterfield, Mo.-based regional retailer's made-from-scratch, three-course dinners for two are priced at $34.99. Designed by the culinary professionals from Dierbergs Kitchens, complete dinner packages include choice of salad, entree for two, choice of two side dishes, four bake-and-serve dinner rolls and a choice of dessert or appetizer selection.

On its Web site, Dierbergs tempts customers to stay close to home Feb. 14. "Big crowds. Lost reservations. Long waits for tables. And (ouch!) inflated pricing. Yes, it's that time of year: Valentine's Day served up restaurant-style.
