Cornell University Announces the 40th Annual Food Executive Program
ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell Food Executive Program, known as the food industry's premier executive training program, is set to take place July 11 to July 22 on the Cornell University campus here, the program's organizers said yesterday.
High-potential managers from the world's leading food retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers are invited to join their peers in an exchange of ideas and information in Cornell’s world-class academic setting. Participants explore marketing, finance, corporate strategy, and leadership, with an applied focus on important food industry business challenges via interactive lectures and group projects.
The instructors for the Food Executive Program include faculty from Cornell's Food Industry Management Program, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the Graduate School of Management, and the Department of Psychology. Presentations will feature nationally recognized food industry and management leaders, including Marion Nestle of New York University; Ken Blanchard, author of "The One Minute Manager"; and Neil Stern, senior partner of McMillan/Doolittle.
Anyone interested in participating in the Cornell Food Executive Program is encouraged to apply as soon as possible, since enrollment is limited.
