    MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- Wal-Mart Canada here and Evergreen this week revealed the first 48 community recipients of a five-year, $2.5 million Wal-Mart Evergreen Green Grants program. Funded by the retailer and headed by Evergreen, a Toronto-based nonprofit environmental organization, the grants provide up to CAN $10,000 (US $9,374) to public groups introducing or revitalizing green space in Canadian communities.
