Regional independent grocer Strack and Van Til, LLC, which operates 30 full-service food stores in northern Indiana and Chicago, plans to deploy Web-based price and promotion optimization software to deliver the most relevant prices across a variety of markets.

Town & Country Markets Inc. is planting stakes in a new residential and mixed-use urban development in Issaquah, Wash., with a 50,000 square foot store planned to open in 2010.
