After spending the past three years at Encino, Calif.-based Gelson’s Supermarkets, Justin Hiller has returned to his home state as VP of Hiller’s Markets, where he will work in concert with his father, Jim, the company’s CEO and owner. Justin is the third generation of Hillers to work at the grocer.

In July and August, the seven Hiller’s Markets locations are support the local chapter of Celebrities Against Autism by offering Puzzle Pieces for sale at checkout for $1.

Anticipating lower manufacturers’ costs, the metro Detroit indie has slashed prices.
