CARLISLE, Pa. -- Giant Food Stores, LLC here said yesterday it had promoted Stephen Strohecker to the newly created position of director of strategic continuous improvement and labor management. In his new role, Strohecker, who previously served as senior manager of strategic initiatives, will provide leadership, management, and coordination to Giant Food Stores managers on all strategic continuous improvement initiatives.

CARLISLE, Pa -- This year Giant Food Stores here and Martin's Food Markets raised $193,237 in the Ahold USA banners' annual "Support Our Troops" in-store campaign -- the greatest contribution in the initiative's three-year history.
