Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA)

The executive committees of both the National Retail Federation (NRF) and the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) have unanimously agreed in principle to a merger that will result in single trade association representing retail interests in Washington.

Sen. Arlen Specter’s (R-PA) announcement that he would not support the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), thereby blocking Senate consideration of the bill, has been applauded by the National Grocers Association (N.G.A.) and other retail trade groups.
