Byerly's Unit Gets a Geek Squad Service Center

CHANHASSEN, Minn. -- Lund Food Holdings has got an exclusive on The Geek Squad in the Twin Cities market, and will open a computer service center at its Byerly's supermarket here in mid-March.

Occupying approximately 360-square-feet inside the Byerly's unit, the service center will be staffed by official Geek Squad "agents," who provide a variety of computer-related services like virus removal, repairs on damaged or corrupt operating systems, diagnostic evaluations, new software installation, and program and file back-ups.

Lund Food Holdings will be the only grocery retailer in the Twin Cities metro area to offer on-premises Geek Squad services. The new service center at Byerly's will bring the total number of Geek Squad locations in the Twin Cities to 16.

Edina-based Lund Food Holdings Inc., parent company of Lunds and Byerly's, operates eight Lunds, 12 Byerly's and two Rick's Markets in the Twin Cities and surrounding area.
