Buzzuto's Selects TCI Retail HQ Pricing Solution to Improve Price Image
CHESHIRE, Conn. - Bozzuto's, Inc., a wholesale grocer based here with annual sales in excess of $1 billion, plans to automate its existing pricing processes using TCI Solutions' TCI HQ for centralized price management and hosting, including using the software vendor's POS eXchange to interface with its Adams Super Food Stores' new point-of-sale systems.
A key component in the company's retail support and solution plan is the Integration Workbench, part of RES Tools -- TCI's Developer Package. This powerful toolset allows Bozzuto's to easily tailor,
extend, and personalize TCI's software to meet specific requirements and to add new capabilities as business needs dictate. RES Tools deliver the flexibility of a custom solution and seamlessly
support retailers' customizations through future versions of TCI HQ.
"The ability to offer improved Item Hosting services to all our retail customers is exciting," said John Keeley, v.p. of information technologies, Bozzuto's. "We are working to address the immediate needs of some of our customers with TCI HQ and have plans to use TCI's software solutions to meet these requirements."
Bozzuto's will use a phased approach to implement its new headquarters platform, which will initially help to improve price image for Adams, a chain that operates 11 stores in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The wholesaler also serves nearly 700 supermarkets throughout the Northeastern and mid-Atlantic states.
