Loblaw's Bagless Initiative Comes to British Columbia
BRAMPTON, Ont. -- In line with Loblaw Cos., Ltd.'s April 2007 commitment to reduce 1 billion plastic bags from Canada's landfills within a year, Langford Real Canadian Superstore, slated to relaunch Nov. 15, will be the first major grocery and general merchandise retail store in the province of British Columbia to dispense with plastic grocery bags at checkouts. -
PBH Updating Consumer Web Site with Video
WILMINGTON, Del. -- The Produce for Better Health Foundation's (PBH) consumer Web site, www.fruitsandveggiesmorematters.org, launched in March of this year, is implementing changes including streaming video resources that will provide more ways for donors and licensees to get involved and consumers to interact and get educated.
