Bozzuto’s Rocks with Aerosmith Drummer’s Coffee Brand

Bozzuto’s Inc., the Cheshire, Conn.-based wholesale distributor, has teamed up with Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer for his organic coffee line, Rockin’ & Roastin’, which will be fully stocked at Bozzuto’s and will be available for purchase by the company’s portfolio of independent retailers and grocers in the New England area.

“Bozzuto’s works with some of the best retailers in the business,” said Kramer. “Partnering with a company like Bozzuto’s will allow us to take Rockin’ & Roastin’ to shelves of even more specialty grocers throughout the New England area.”

In May, Kramer announced his partnership with Comfort Foods who now roasts and packages his trio of small-batch brews: two dark roasts, from Sumatra and Ethiopia, and one dark-medium, hailing from Guatemala. Currently the coffee is available in both whole-bean and ground forms and soon, Kramer will unveil a single-serving option.

Through June of 2014, sipping one of Kramer’s three brews also has a delicious charitable benefit. In June, Kramer announced a year-long campaign to donate a portion of his coffee sales to auto-dealership magnate, Ernie Boch, Jr.’s (Boch Enterprises) nonprofit organization, Music Drives Us, which supplies grants for music programs to effect positive changes for people in need throughout New England.

"Ernie has been friends with Joey for many years," added Frank Cimler, Kramer’s attorney and Rockin’ & Roastin’ business partner. "They're both big fans of music and coffee so it made a lot of sense. Rockin' & Roastin' will give a deliberate and meaningful contribution from each sale to Music Drives Us to benefit those throughout New England.”
