Joan Kavanaugh is VP of corporate buying at Batavia, Ill.-based Aldi U.S. Kavanaugh oversees corporate responsibility for the entire organization, as well as the corporate test kitchen, customer service, quality assurance and several other buying functions. During her more than 27 years at Aldi, Kavanaugh has held a variety of positions, including division VP in Wisconsin, responsible for more than 61 stores in the region. Kavanaugh was appointed to her current role in 2007.
