Arden Group Gets New C.F.O.
LOS ANGELES - Arden Group, Inc., parent company of Gelson's Markets, yesterday said it had appointed Debra L. Jensen c.f.o., effective Sept. 30.
Jensen previously served as national operations controller at Wild Oats Markets from 2001 to August of this year. She additionally worked for Whole Foods Market California as controller for the Northern Pacific region from 1997 to 2001, and was employed by a division of Food4Less from 1988 to 1997.
"Ms. Jensen brings over 16 years of experience in the retail grocery business to our company," said Arden president and c.e.o. Bernard Briskin in a statement. "We are pleased with the addition of Debra to our executive management team. Her vast experience in the grocery industry will benefit Arden in many respects."
Gelson's Markets operates 18 supermarkets in Southern California.
