A&P Bowing First SuperFresh-turned 'Price Impact' Unit in Philly
A&P’s first ‘Price Impact” format store converted from the SuperFresh to the Pathmark banner will open in Philadelphia this Friday, the grocer said.
The remodeled store, on 2101 Cottman Avenue in Philadelphia, will feature a broad variety of groceries, produce, breads, seafood, meats, and other items at value prices, A&P said.
In-store price-oriented programs include Family Packs, Yellow Tag Savings, and Deal Zones. Samples, special sales, and giveaways are among the opening day features, A&P said.
A&P introduced the “Price Impact” Pathmark concept to the greater Philadelphia area with one location each in Philadelphia and Upper Darby, Pa., at the end of August. The format’s inaugural store debuted in Irvington, N.J. in early June.
