AG New England Taps Computer Ops Manager
The Associated Grocers of New England has named Sheri Pendexter to the position of computer operations manager at the Pembroke, N.H.-based cooperative wholesaler.
Pendexter reports to director of information technology Ken Peperissa, and succeeds Marlan Dyment, who has left the company.
"Sheri will oversee hardware, operating system software, network and infrastructure, and our telephone system," said Peperissa in a statement. "She brings to AG New England over 20 years of experience in computer operations and customer help desk support."
Pendexter comes to the co-op from Portsmouth, N.H.-based Pannaway Technologies, where she provided network phone support. Previously she was computer operations manager with Central Vermont Public Service in Rutland.
The largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, AG New England serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the upstate New York/Albany area, including almost 500 supermarkets and convenience retail stores.
