AG New England Gets New Senior Produce Buyer

MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Leonard Miner has joined Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., here as senior produce buyer. Miner comes to the company from Jackson Star Market in Meredith, N.H. In his new role he will report to Dominic Viglione, director of AG New England's produce department.

During his 13 years at Jackson Star Market, Miner was successively assistant produce manager, produce manager, and assistant store manager. "His wealth of knowledge in produce at the retail level will serve him well in helping strengthen AG's produce program," said Viglione in a statement.

Owned entirely by independent retail grocers as members of a cooperative and the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, AG New England serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Upstate New York/Albany area.
