AFFI Adds SVP of Industry Development
The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) has hired Brandon Partridge as its SVP of industry development.
“Brandon brings considerable food and beverage industry expertise to strengthen the value proposition AFFI offers its current and prospective members, and an entrepreneurial approach to leverage the opportunities within the frozen food and beverage industry,” said Alison Bodor, president and CEO of McLean, Va.-based AFFI.
Partridge’s most recent position was as founder and CEO of Washington, D.C.-based Skyland Foods, which developed and launched a line of healthy organic drinkable yogurts with less sugar.
Before launching Skyland Foods in 2011, Partridge held government relations roles with Gov. Bob Taft (R-Ohio), Nestlé USA and the Tipton Group. He was also executive director of the Washington-based Cheese Importers Association of America, in which capacity he helped the organization achieve various public policy goals.
Partridge noted that in his new role, he intended “to harness the underlying value of frozen foods to the broader food and beverage industry and explore opportunities for AFFI’s continued growth.”
Partridge holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in history and philosophy from Vanderbilt University.
AFFI is the national trade association promoting and representing the interests of all segments of the frozen food and beverage industry.
