ACNielsen Appoints New Head of Marketing for U.S. Business

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- ACNielsen U.S., an operating unit of VNU, today said it named Edward Franczek s.v.p., marketing. Franczek most recently held the position of e.v.p., marketing and sales for GOLIATH Solutions, LLC.

Franczek will lead the ACNielsen U.S. marketing organization with responsibility for the company's go-to-market strategy, direction and goals as well as new products and services development. In addition, he will have responsibility for ACNielsen's Market Decisions, TDLinx and Beverage Alcohol business segments.

"Ed's extensive experience in senior level marketing, sales and general management positions, as well as his technological expertise, will add tremendous value to our marketing organization and our business overall," said John J. Lewis, ACNielsen U.S. President and CEO.
